It's been a while since I really felt I could use this icon.

So, I'm gainfully employed, or will be from August the 8th, in non-temp, proper work in a field I'm interested in, in a company I like the look of, in cool offices and... and everything. Proper work! That looks interesting and good and with a manageable commute!

Frankly, I'm a little disconcerted.

This a new one, which meant I had to tell the temp place I couldn't work for them, but they were really nice about it all, paid me for working yesterday, said they understood completely and gave me best wishes and so on.

You know that saying, "there's nothing like having a job for getting a job?" I had that temp job one day, after months of trying to get work in that field, and I get the phonecall about this new position.
