Note to self

It is a bad idea to attempt to write GL fic while listening to Eddie Izzard, since the phrase "And then Noah realised he was punching a gorilla" has no place in a Mark/Aerael fic.

Although I suspect if I really tried I could work in the "I am an evil giraffe" bit.

I firmly believe that Bonnie likes Eddie Izzard, and, like my family, takes to saying one lines at odd moments.

"I like my coffee like I like my women. In a plastic cup."

"I like my coffee like I like my women. Covered in bees!"

"I am the Queen, I live for ever!"

"Let me kiss you with tongues!"

"Block of Concrete! Ha ha hah!"


And if you know the context, believe me, these lines will crack you up.

It had rained while they were inside the club and occasional drops still fell from the sky. The streets were wet and shiny, reflecting the lights of the city. Cities looked their best at night after the rain, glittering and dark, and the smell of the rain took away the normal, background pollution. All the sounds of the city, traffic and the bar behind them, seemed strangely distant.
