My entire household is flailing, giggling, flailing, it’s all exclaimation marks and vindictive, gleeful looking at where the tories lost, wiith only a brief interlude to explain to barely-awake Housemate Two what a hung parliament and three line whip means.

There’s a lot, and I don’t know what it’ll all mean tomorrow, but this is just-- like, the last few elections have been so awful, and this one, I was expecting to be... well, not quite as destructive as 2015, but close. And it isn’t! And I’m in, and from, one of the safest Labour seats in the country, so safe Labour didn’t even bother campaigning here, and we still went up in votes! And the tories lost, like, Cantabury and South Portsmouth and places where they’ve been for *longer than the labour part has existed* - like, over a hundred years, they’ve held them! But not anymore!
