jamjar: (christmas!)

Just to say that I'll be away and out of email contact until the 28th.

Yuletide and JBBS, I'm very sorry that I'll miss getting to read you right away, but I'm deeply relieved that I've got both challenges done on time (just!)

Happy holidays! (And I've been watching the Yuletide homepage pretty religiously - shut up, it is a perfectly valid procrastinating strategy - and I swear I saw your name go by like four times.)

Um. There may be a reason for that, but rest assured, quantity is no relation to quality.

It was more of a, "OMG, jamjar is MADE OF AWESOME" kind of reaction that I was having. I did one pinch hit and my original assignment, and that was hard enough. (And yet I just had a brief but severe fling with insanity when I tried to claim a second pinch hit. Someone else got there first. I'm trying to be grateful. And I'm hoping she's writing the prompt I wanted, because it is an awesome prompt.)

Anyway. I know you write wonderful stuff. But to do so also in such quantity? Against such a major deadline? You obviously win.

O_O

You pinch-hit three times?! Oh wow. Dude!

*lays offerings at your feet*

Merry Christmas!

Uh, not exactly. You know that thing, where you look at the prompst and you have a couple of different half ides, but nothing really solid, so you don't know what to do?

Yeah, that. Also, I was so shamefully sentimental in some parts that I embarrassed myself writing it.

That is equally impressive. *g*

I am inclined to cheer. If Yuletide isn't the right time for well-written sentimentality, I don't know what is!
