Uhmmm.

1. "At Swim Two Boys", by Jamie O'Neill. Everyone who I suggested this one to liked it, so I hope you will as well. :)
2. Garage Olimpo. Quite the kick in the stomach, or lower, but worth it.
3. I have no idea which your musical tastes are... "The Holy Bible", by the Manic Street Preachers, is the album I liked best of the ones I heard as of late. (A review I read defined it as "harsh and desperate".) Quite different from their last born, "Lifeblood", I have to say.
4. Hm, that's tough. I'd say [livejournal.com profile] spacedye_vest. She's a wonderful person, plus she always recs good art (and good fics), which doesn't hurt, either. And from there you can find other people I'd wholeheartedly recommend you. :)
5. Not pizza, if it has some strange fruit over. My italian blood coils at the thought.
6. Harry Potter and the Planetarium (http://lillithium.azile.net/)
7. "Yes, there was something altogether tantalizing about truth. One burnt to tell it, for it to be known. Dreaded it, too, that someone else should say it, their saying making it true, the truth true, unalterable. He thought pf that phrase from Wilde, What one had done in the secret chamber one has some day to cry on the housetop. Wilde had meant in confession. Was it conceivable to cry out with pride? When Kettle had asked was there a flaw in his character, he had replied that he did not think it a flaw."

3. a musical artist, song, or album - Tori Amos' album "Scarlet's Walk", or Interpol's "Turn On The Bright Lights"
4. a LiveJournal user not on my friends list - [livejournal.com profile] glockgal and her art journal [livejournal.com profile] glockart
5. what I should have for dinner - Chicken stir-fry.. mmm...
6. a website - http://www.neilgaiman.com/ I am not creative today.
7. a quote - "There's something inside that's yours, that they can't touch. That's the beauty of music. They can't take that away from you." from The Shawshank Redemption, one of the best movies ever.

1. KINSEY. Kinsey Kinsey Kinsey. And I don't say this just because I desperately want to read some Kinsey slash. well. I do, but--yeah. ;)
2. Dick for a Day, a collection of stories by feminist theorists and other famous women about what they would do if they had a dick for a day. Very interesting read.

4. Um.... hmm. Well, [livejournal.com profile] unanon is awesome.
5. mac and cheese.
6. Just... do a google search on 'Iceman art.' Go to the first site that comes up. Hilariousy bad comics fanart porn. (Warning: some of it is EMOTIONALLY SCARRING, especially if you're a Spider-man fan.)
7. Uh.... "Hell is other people"? Yeah, sorry, I got nothin'.

She's on there already for pretty much that exact reason. And I was actually making curry, although for tomorrow's lunch rather than dinner, which is-- huh.

1. Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00068WOH8/qid=1106677955/sr=-4/ref=__4/002-5080643-0238455?v=glance&s=books). The smartest dumb movie ever made, and funny as hell, too. Plus, I have a major crush on Kumar.
2. The Three-Cornered World (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0720611563/qid=1106677883/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/002-5080643-0238455?v=glance&s=books), by Natsume Soseki. A "haiku novel", where every phrase, every chapter could stand on its own as a complete work. Beautiful in its simplicity.
3. Nickel Creek (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00004NK9T/qid=1106678002/sr=8-1/ref=pd_csp_1/002-5080643-0238455?v=glance&s=music&n=507846), eponymous album. They're young kids playing old country, and by old country I don't mean like Russia, I mean like bluegrass. Unbelievably skillful fiddling and mandolin playing, and beautiful vocals.
4. [livejournal.com profile] tsukikoushi, because she loves Bart more than she loves breathing.
5. The Healthiest Soup Ever. (http://www.livejournal.com/users/beeblebabe/15474.html)
6. Cockeyed.com (http://www.cockeyed.com). How Much Is Inside? is enough to keep you busy for a day at work.
7. "A guitar is the human soul speaking with just six strings." from the manga Beck by Harold Sakuishi.

I *love* that manga! Haven't read it in a while, though.

I started watching the anime recently and fell in love, then went and read all nineteen volumes of the manga in one sitting last night. So, uh, it's sort of been on my mind today.

(Beck fic? Oh yes, I will write Beck fic.)
