Has anyone else got one of these emails? I just found three of them in my inbox.

I don't have time to find the FAQ link at the moment,but I can tell you. that's NOT a legitimate email. Don't reply. If you're worried forward it to a LJ authority.

It looks exactly like a phishing scheme to me. And getting three of them doesn't make it look any more like it actually came from livejournal. Not to mention the fact that the url doesn't precisely look like a livejournal one.

Yeah. I passed it on to LJ as soon as I got them, for just those reasons.

But the question is, what were they going to do with your account information? Use it to promote viagra on scans_daily? Buy themselves 100 icons? It's curious.
