For any of you that don't know who these characters are, L.E.G.I.O.N. is basically an intergalactic freelance police force, founded and run by Vril Dox (son of Braniac I, ancestor of Querl Dox). Vril is pragmatic, manipulative and ethical, for very specific definitions of the word ethical. Brainwashing people into thinking for themselves, that kind of thing.
Garryn Bek was one of the people Dox took with him when he broke out of prison and liberated his homeworld at the beginning of L.E.G.I.O.N.
