"I know I agreed to your choice of activities tonight."

"Yes," Aerael said, stretching out on the bed. Because you forgot my birthday and refused to admit it, he added mentally.

"And I am, of course, pleased that did you did not chose the..." Markkas paused and even through the doors of the walk-in closet, Aerael could see him shudder, "cheerleading outfit."

"I'm saving that for when you really need to be punished," Aerael said, licking his lips reflexively as his eyes almost burned a whole through the door. "It wouldn't be good to humiliate you when you're doing something nice for me, would it? Wouldn't encourage you to do it again."

"And normally, I would be the last to criticise any kinks you might have."

"Uh huh. Because you usually have them too, in spades, and with a few others that surprise even me?"

Markkas came out of the walk-in closet, looking down at himself in disbelief.
"But this, this is just bizarre."

Aerael straightened his arms, pushing his top half up the bed.

Markkas was barefoot, bare chested and wearing a pair of jeans. His hair was loose, and went he looked down some of it fell forwards, part-shielding his face. He looked at Aerael, his expression uncharacteristically open and his bafflement obvious.

"They're just jeans, Aerael."

Aerael swung his legs round so he was sitting on the bed. Jeans, totally unlike anything Mark would wear. Nothing like the carefully put together outfits Mark chose for himself. Aerael resisted the urge to swallow, then resisted the urge to change into a girl. They could play teenager-and-first-love-boyfriend later.

"They don't even have any strategic rips," Mark went on, looking down. "They're not even that tight."

"Uh huh," Aerael said, not paying the slightest attention. Mark looked so young like this- younger than Aerael had ever seen him, younger than Davy almost. Not quite virgin territory, but fresh. Skin waiting to be marked, but, right now, with nothing more than the scars anyone growing up in Faerie might collect.

And then Mark was just bout in reach, so Aerael hooked a finger into a belt loop and pulled Mark closer. The jeans were loose enough that he could probably have fit his hand down the waistband anyway, but they were *button-fly*. Mark's hair brushed his hands as he undid the top button, then leaned back on his elbows to admire his handiwork. Beautiful. Now he not only looked young, he looked accessible and vaguely purchasable. He raised his head to see Mark looking amused and much more like his usual self.

"They're not even designer label," he said. "They're *Gap*. You put me in Gap clothes, and you call me a sadist."

Aerael grinned and gestured Mark closer. "Undo the rest of the rest of the buttons and you'll see how twisted I can be. Slowly," he added as Mark rolled his eyes and -slowly- undid the buttons.

*blurble*

KAMMY!!! Forget the Stone and Fen pic - I want one of Mark in faded jeans - top-button, unbuttoned.

Y'know, I find it much easier to understand my normal, Mark/Aerael/Davy/Iolathne in corset and leather type fetishes than the desire to see Mark in jeans- I think it's just because it's so much noot what he'd wear.

And the casual, within reach aspect has it's appeal too.

Because it's not what he'd wear is exactly the reason I find it appealing. But then again, I have this major thing for guys in tight faded jeans and no shirt. You definitely hit a button for me with this one.

mmmm.....yes. mark in jeans. i've pictured it a time or two myself. ~_^

but that's the thing with fetishes, isn't it? it's the contrasts...the heat and the cold, the pleasure and the pain....silk vs leather vs denim vs naked flesh. yeah. so the hair and the skin and perfectly loose and rumpled and faded denim, and there's the startling vulnerabilty to be found in bare feet. this entire visual is a treat to the eyes and to the touch. so i understand it, i think. he looks young and innocent and careless and unsophisticated, uncomplicated even, and yeah, vulnerable, and these things are not things we associate with mark, so the contrast is startling indeed. and yes, it's been filed away in the image cache. thank you. ^_^
