Drabblememe, DCU, Match/Kon PG for zeelee_penguin

He presses him against the wall, taking every bit of advantage he can. Superboy is less than him, beneath him in every sense. Differences in coding that makes Match that little bit better, and differences in upbringing that make Superboy something to be *defeated*. While Superboy was working on his tan and ogling his *girlfriend* on beaches in Hawaii, Match was practising, preparing, all to get *this*, this perfect feel of Superboy *conquered*. He pushes against him harder, body and TTK pressing down to feel Superboy *squirm*.

Superboy's eyes widen, shock in there that's close to perfect, then he scowls and opens his mouth. "Pretty narcissistic, aren't you?" He hisses.

The accents just a little bit wrong, just a little bit not Cadmus-standard, and Match doesn't bother to analyse the words beyond, "So who gave you the word of the day calender?"

Superboys breathes in and Match *braces*, but Superboy... he doesn't tense, he just relaxes a little, and their faces are close --too close Match realises, when Superboy goes in to bite him-- and then he flinches, because the mouth is soft and his tongue and--

Spinning around, thrown into the wall in that one second of being off guard and Superboy standing over him for a second. His head is spinning, at least minor concussion, and the absence of what he had, of the *power*, that moment of victory only felt seconds ago is like *starving* and he tries to stand, but Superboy stretches out with one hand and...

drabblememe, DCU Bart/Ray gen for navisx: Games

There's something to watching Bart play computer games.

It's not that he does it faster than anyone else. There's a limit on how quickly the commands go through, and Bart has to slow down to something on two or three steps above regular human game-freak.

It's more to do with how he just doesn't make a wrong move *twice*. Occasional death, dealt with before it has a chance to really register and back on the horse, jump, kick, run, left, left, power-up *charge*.

Die, restart.

Jump, kick, run, left, left, *pause*, power-up *charge*, jump right...

There's no break in the motion, none that Ray can see. Computer games aren't his usual projects, but he has a sudden wish to design one, just to see what Bart would do to it.

No, what he *really* wants is to get Bart into programming. Hacker-Impulse would be a terrible thing to unleash on the world, but a helluva thing to play *against*.

Maybe he can buy Bart a few books, leave them around. Cyberpunk and programming for dummies, just to get him started.

"You want the other control?" Bart says. "I've almost clocked this, we can play something else two-player."

"Just what I was thinking," Ray says, settling down next to him.
