Don't know how long this will take to get done. Suggestions greatly appreciated (especially a title), and mostly dedicated to KamiKaze, because she sounds like she needs it.
Part one (in which the inevitable occurs, and one of the author's kinks is fed)
Mark was not a believer in fate. In fact, it went against his core beliefs, that the future was ordered and inevitable, and most of the time Aerael believed him. Nonetheless, it was also true that certain things were inevitable. Not death and taxes- any fae of reasonable intelligence and with a good accountant could avoid those- and not the sun-will-rise, day-follows-night kind of inevitable. Aerael had witnessed too many of Marks workings to place total faith in those as definite future events.
( It was, Aerael decided later... )
