I'm feeling a little too blown away for feedback, really. Holy crap. This story is like a movie in my head, you wouldn't believe the color and the crispness of it. Wow. I love how Pete goes from the argyle reaction to hero worship to realizing he's desperately in love. Best characterizations ever. Just wow. Little stuff, like Pete seeing his dad in the crowd, and Pete being Patrick's Chicago wife, and Joe with his comments, and Pete angsting and making it look so good in my head, haha! And the van and Joe and strange guy doing laundry and the mentions of Pete's weird choices of hook-ups and over-watering Patrick's plants to death. Jebus christ. I need to go re-read it, like, right now.
