1. Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00068WOH8/qid=1106677955/sr=-4/ref=__4/002-5080643-0238455?v=glance&s=books). The smartest dumb movie ever made, and funny as hell, too. Plus, I have a major crush on Kumar.
2. The Three-Cornered World (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0720611563/qid=1106677883/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/002-5080643-0238455?v=glance&s=books), by Natsume Soseki. A "haiku novel", where every phrase, every chapter could stand on its own as a complete work. Beautiful in its simplicity.
3. Nickel Creek (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00004NK9T/qid=1106678002/sr=8-1/ref=pd_csp_1/002-5080643-0238455?v=glance&s=music&n=507846), eponymous album. They're young kids playing old country, and by old country I don't mean like Russia, I mean like bluegrass. Unbelievably skillful fiddling and mandolin playing, and beautiful vocals.
4. [livejournal.com profile] tsukikoushi, because she loves Bart more than she loves breathing.
5. The Healthiest Soup Ever. (http://www.livejournal.com/users/beeblebabe/15474.html)
6. Cockeyed.com (http://www.cockeyed.com). How Much Is Inside? is enough to keep you busy for a day at work.
7. "A guitar is the human soul speaking with just six strings." from the manga Beck by Harold Sakuishi.
