Things I might have done if I'd known I wasn't going to take the train back to the UK this summer

In no real order:

1) Gone somewhere out of Japan for Golden Week
2) Gone somewhere out of Japan that wasn't the UK for Christmas
3) Planned to go somewhere out of Japan on the up-coming four day weekend.
4) Stayed another year in Japan
5) Found someone else to go back with.
6) Made plans for travelling this summer around or outside of Japan

Honestly, I have no idea if I would have done any of these things; but thinking since last year that that I was taking the Trans-Siberian express back played a part in my decision not to do them.

Still fucking miserable about it.

Those all sound like reasonable plans, and your vexation is, too.

You have sympathy, and also not at all work safe email.

I didn't realise how much you'd been changing your plans for this trip. Everytime I sent you links you seemed interested, but not.. I don't know, I'm sorry. I made my decision without knowing this. Can I call you tonight? Maybe it's still doable.

I could take the ferry to Shanghai and the train to Beijing to cut money off. I wouldn't be able to do a long stopover, but if we can do a one night or something in Mongolia and then catch the Friday train out on the 5th... I just didn't know if it would be worth it if we couldn't do any real stops, but if you still want to. Well, can we talk?

is it too late to work on #5 and #6?

I do really want to do it-- I had dance this evening, and I just got back, but we can talk tomorrow maybe?

If it's muri, than it's muri, but if it's at all possible...

I don't know. Most people have their summer plans sorted out, which is part of the problem.

Both of which are appreciated.
