Bad News.
My ibook isn't under warrenty
It's a logic board thing, and it'll take about 3-4 weeks to get fixed.
It'll take 3-4 weeks to repair
I'm only here for about 2
Good news
Certain ibooks with certain serial numbers have that logicboard under special warrenty.
The deadline for that warrenty was actually the day *after* I took it in.
It's getting repaired for free. It would have cost £200 minimum.
My aunt is coming over to Japan in February.
It would have cost me *at least* £200 pounds. And I'm not paying a penny. yes, I already said that, but I feel it's worth repeating.
Other stuff
I'm off to France for a bit, coming back on the 24th. This means I have to send off Yuletide/JBBS today. It should be okay, they've been mostly beta-read. It's possible that I might be able to do more work on them while I'm gone, but I doubt it so... better safe than sorry.
